Description

You will lead interpretive tours of Indiana Caverns that are safe, fun, educational and guest focused. You’ll share with guests the story of the cave, its formation, growth, discovery, development, animal life, and past inhabitants (peccary, bison, bear, fisher and other Ice Age bones).

This is a full-time, summer job with wage reviews based on experience and job performance.

Positions: 7- 10
Age Requirement: 17 and older
Pay Rate:  Based on Experience

Successful candidates will be friendly, enthusiastic, articulate, responsible, safety conscious, good work ethic and be team players. Must have reliable transportation. Age 17 and older.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute hospitality
• Provide safe, enjoyable tours

• Assist customers in the gift shop
• Assist in unpacking, marking, or stocking merchandise
• Help building and grounds stay neat, clean, and safe
• Study material provided for thematic cave tour
