You will descend over 200 feet beneath the ground. First descend a ladder and then an underground mountain. You’ll go through a subterranean river until it’s so deep you’ll need a kayak.
With the inherent risks associated with a cave exploring trip of this difficulty, everyone is required to print and sign our waiver.
Waiver of LiabilityYour trip will last 3.5-5hours. Plan on being here a total of 6 from arrival to departure. Arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Wear suitable clothes for a cave temperature of 56 degrees.
For safety, a minimum group size of 3 persons is required.
With 5 people or less, individuals may be added to your group.
Max group size is 9.
Reservations and payment must be made at least 10 days prior to trip.
Trips can be scheduled 7 days a week. All trips are subject to cancellation in the event of major rainfall or any other event resulting in hazardous trip conditions.
To receive a full refund, trips must be cancelled* a minimum of 10 days before your trip.
If within 10 days, you must reschedule or your payment is forfeited. No refunds for opting out after arrival.

Loading Deep Darkness Tour Availability...
Get a good night’s sleep and eat a good meal before arriving. You might want to limit liquids since there are no bathrooms in the cave.
Arrive at 9:30 to allow time to check in, use the restroom, etc.
Whatever you wear will never look the same due to cave mud. Don’t wear your favorite clothing!
Bring a candy bar or other snack to eat during the trip (PayDay, Milky Way, granola bar, or jerky are ideas). You can bring a drink in a plastic bottle for the trip, but glass or cans are not allowed. You may want to bring food and drinks for after the trip; you work up an appetite. Snack are available for purchase at the cave, too.
Pack a change of clothes including shoes and under garments in a large plastic trash bag. You can use this page to take your wet, muddy clothes home. There will be a place to change clothes after the trip, but no showers. Wet wipes might be helpful, or a rag and water to wipe off with.
